PSIM Interface

The VidSys ICX connector provides a reliable means of integrating Intercom equipment into the VidSys physical security information management (PSIM) software platform. Intercom door units are specified with their locations in the VidSys device inventory. Calls from these door stations are handled like other events reported to the PSIM software and can be processed by VidSys rules to filter and prioritize incoming calls, and to correlate them with other events related to a security situation. Geographical coordinates are used by the PSIM to spatially correlate events and to automatically identify cameras that may provide assessment video.
