A Schneider Intercom solution

This solution consists of an impact-resistant mast housing that accommodates a 10-watt loudspeaker, a microphone and an intercom module and LTE antenna. The intercom station is independent of the surrounding infrastructure and can be placed almost anywhere in the city or municipality, depending on its use as an emergency call or information station - a suitable power supply is all that is needed.

Direct connection at the push of a button

The station provides acoustic and visual feedback to indicate its operating state and required user interaction. Pressing the button automatically establishes a connection to the designated point of help. From there staff can also call back to provide additional information and instructions to callers. The Intercom station also comes equipped with features to make misuse difficult.

The many possible uses range from emergency call stations for parks and public places to information stations in public transport, at entrances suitable for the disabled and at information points. They can even be set up at short notice for special occasions or events.

The emergency call or info intercom stations monitor themselves and report errors (via SNMP) to any location. An LTE data card with a maximum data volume of 300 MB per month is additionally required for operation. The intercom stations arrive at the installation site fully configured and only need to be mounted and connected to the power supply.
