Public Address Solutions
More Possibilities, One Platform
The Unified PA solution is an essential part of Schneider Intercom‘s holistic solution approach. This approach provides unique opportunities for operators and efficiency for users in daily operations. For example, it allows any station to make announcements. At the same time, the uniform platform makes it possible to react immediately to announcements and even to respond via the loudspeakers as well as via the stations.
Our public address solutions are used in buildings, industrial facilities and in public infrastructures from transport to smart cities to ensure enhanced safety and efficiency.
Benefits
Works with Virtualised Servers or even Serverless
to provide even more cost competitive and specialized solutions
Ensures End-to-End System Monitoring
as required for a security solution – 24/7
Power and Energy Efficiency at its Best
due to fewer system components, de-central concepts and modern class-D technology
Networking Concepts for decentralised solutions
- Remotely located staff can manage several sites and even whole cities for centralised announcements and information broadcasts.
- PA broadcasts can be targeted to one or more specific zones to guide streams of pedestrians in a city or people in buildings away from threats and safety hazards.
- Cameras provide the necessary visual support that allows remotely located staff to intervene in on-site situations and address individuals at the scene. More
- Existing loudspeakers can be reused and complemented by IP network loudspeakers.
Updating and Networking Existing Public Address Systems
Need a power boost or technology update for your Public Address system? That’s easy: simply replace the existing amplifiers and central units by Commend IP amplifiers. Existing wiring and loudspeakers can be reused to keep the modernisation costs down. The upgraded system provides the full range of Commend functions. If required, multiple systems can be networked using the IP Amplifiers. It is also possible to integrate IP Loudspeakers, taking full advantage of all features and functions from the Commend world.
How Telephones interface with Public Address Solutions
Commend IP Amplifiers come with IoIP (Intercom over IP) and SIP capabilities, which allows them to integrate easily and seamlessly into existing VoIP/SIP-PBX systems as needed. This enables Public Address broadcasts via SIP telephones as well as the option of adding PA to existing SIP-PBX systems. Even serverless solutions can be implemented with very simple means, using SIP telephones and Commend IP Amplifiers or Commend IP Loudspeakers.
Investing to Save – The Benefits of Integration
PA + Intercom + Interfaces = Solutions
A high level of efficiency and resulting cost savings can be achieved by networking multiple systems. Solutions that eliminate the need manual step-by-step processes reduce the required effort, costs and personal resources. Interfaces allow Schneider Intercom solutions to collaborate with other systems, from simple door actuators to sophisticated video management systems. The Public Address components are no exception, as they interface easily with a wide range of other equipment for convenient control.
Extra benefit: Unique action sequence logic
A selection of flexible options helps to meet individual customer requirements:
- Triggered by alarms, VMS, sensors, building equipment, and more
- Playback of pre-recorded warning messages and acoustic signals
- Combinations of functions and actions, such as ‘Turn light on’ + ‘Open door’
- Automatically triggered calls to the Control Desk
- ....
In addition to enhancing overall efficiency, these options also provide creative possibilities for useful functions and processes.
A Secure Choice for the Future
The upward compatibility of the AF Amplifier Series is just as unique as its functional versatility. New functions are simply added to the devices via software updates. Of course, all Series AF Amplifiers come ready equipped with IT security features and functions such as data encryption and authentication.
That’s how Public Address is supposed to be: efficient, future-proof and secure.
